Dr. Arem's practice is specializing in thyroid disorders. Accurate and precise testing for thyroid dysfunction is available to detect borderline cases of thyroid imbalance. Also, precise testing of pituitary and adrenal functions are available, and are performed in patients suspected to have growth hormone deficiency or other pituitary problems. For the treatment of patients with underactive thyroid, T4/T3 combination therapy is provided to patients with lingering symptoms of fatigue and depression. Dr. Arem has an extensive experience in the management of patients with Graves’ disease, thyroid cancer, and thyroid nodules, and other less common thyroid conditions.
